Connie Frisbee Houde and Lorna Tychostup are two local photographers who are have built personal and photojournalistic relationships to two countries: Afghanistan and Iraq respectively, which are suffering from decades of war. Both capture in their photographs the complex and profound reality of people living their lives among the ruins of war. |
